Member Relationship Specialist I(Flower St. Branch)
(Part-Time)

Job Description

We are currently looking for experienced and equally dynamic Member Relationship Specialist I (MRS I) for our Flower Street Branch. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager and is responsible for building and fostering profitable financial relationships with credit union members and potential members, alike.

The MRS I will also provide outstanding service while promoting and recommending appropriate credit union products and services to meet specific financial needs of each individual member through effective solution based sales efforts. Member Relationship Specialist I will further gather and analyze member data at the time of each interaction to offer customized solutions, by using in-depth knowledge of USCCU products, services and technologies.

Additionally, the MRS I will maintain a primary focus on improving the overall financial well-being of our member-owners while consistently meeting or exceeding minimum performance and service standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum with two years previous experience in sales, retail or financial institutions with a proven track record of meeting production/sales goals. Prior Credit Union, Banking, and/ or Financial Services Industry experience preferred.

Training Specialist(UPC)
(Part-Time, Los Angeles Downtown)

Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and equally dynamic Training Specialist. This position reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. The Training Specialist position will apply solid instructional design skills, effective learning principles, and creativity to course design to engage participants in the learning process, encourage participation, and meet the requirements of the adult learner. Training Specialist will also plan, develop, and implement training activities throughout the Credit Union. Identifies training needs and designs support materials including computer presentations, manuals, workbooks, and scripts. Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and employee performance. Maintains training library resources and distributes materials to managers, personnel, and members as needed. Assists in the preparation of the training budget and coordinates library resources with Credit Union objectives and goals. Provides support in the planning and implementation of events and meetings. Collaborate with subject matter experts and management to develop course materials to ensure authenticity and accuracy of program content. Responsible for working with department heads to keep policies and procedures updated. Assists in member and volunteer education and miscellaneous assignments as needed.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Requires a Bachelor’s Degrees and at least three years of experience in a training related position and knowledge of training systems and resources. This candidate must have an understanding of job functions and operations at all levels of the Credit Union. This position also requires strong leadership skills, an ability to plan, develop, and implement curriculum, be well organized, have solid communication abilities, be able to meet deadlines and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Experience with Adult Learning Theory, Instructor Led Training Development, eLearning Development, Blended Learning Methodologies, Job Skill Analysis, Gap Analysis, Needs Analysis, LMS Administration, Performance Support and Skill Assessments is a plus.

Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced and equally dynamic DMV Clerk.

Responsibilities include but at not limited to:

  • Verifying that all applications and documents have been completed thoroughly and accurately.
  • Process DMV paperwork for non-dealer purchase of vehicle including auto, boats, RV’s, etc.
  • Verifies and ensures titles are perfected in accordance to the state/agency guidelines in a timely and accurate manner and compliance with Credit union policies and procedures.
  • Tracking and maintaining all titles on secured auto loans.
  • Consistently following up on missing titles and errors resolution.
  • Process financial transactions such as posting payments, transfers, loan adjustments, etc. Collects correct fees when not collected at the time of the loan.
  • Processes negative share write-offs, insurance add-ons and charge-offs as instructed.
  • Providing outstanding support to internal and external customers.
  • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as DMV title clerk in a credit union or financial institution.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Knowledge of consumer loan terminology and functions.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
