Important Information Before You Begin:

  • If you experience technical difficulties in trying to access our membership application from another country please try accessing our application using a VPN (virtual private network). USC offers free VPN services to students, which you can access here.

    • Foreign Passport
    • Acceptance letter (must have USC ID Number on letter) or USC ID
    • Your International and U.S. residential address
    • Your home country phone number

  • As a new USC student, we recommend you open both a student checking and savings account. A savings account is required to become a member of USC Credit Union, and is an account used for money you’d like to save for the future. Any money you don’t plan on using for your day to day spending should be kept in this account. We recommend a student checking account for every day spending. With this account, you’ll receive a debit card, which you can use to withdraw money from ATM’s and make purchases at stores or online.

Disclosure: *Must qualify for USCCU membership and membership fee may apply; please call (877-670-5860) or visit www.USCCreditUnion.org to confirm eligibility. Must be a USC Student and at least 17 years old. Converts to Cardinal Checking 30 days after graduation or change in student status. Must pass Chexsystem. All accounts are subject to approval process. If new membership is closed within the first 90 days, there is a $5 early membership fee. Limit one (1) Student Checking Account per Student ID Number. Student Checking Account is not applicable to organizational or business entities and must be opened as a personal accounts. Accounts are subject to all terms and conditions set forth in the Account Agreement and Truth-In-Savings Disclosure and Student Checking Account Disclosure.
