Spotlight on Brenda Jackson - Branch Manager, Health Sciences Campus
Brenda is a 22-year USC Credit Union veteran. She’s proud to work with a team whose goal is the same as hers; to provide service and value.
Q. How have you spent your 22 years at USC Credit Union?
A. Gaining experience in every phase of operations. I started as a teller, moved to operations support, real estate, and now, here I am: a Branch Manager!
Q. Do you still interact directly with members?
A. Only every day! I open accounts, process loans, and help members with their questions.
Q. What do you say if friends or new students ask why they should join?
A. Our rates are lower, we’re more personable, and we’re efficient; a member can apply for loan and get an answer on their lunch break.
Q. How about life outside of work?
A. My son is working for USC and applying for his Masters. One daughter is a college freshman and the other is in middle school. I attend a lot of softball games and cheerleading competitions. In fact, my dance card is so full, I consider work my vacation!
