Los Angeles Wildfire Relief

Last updated on 1/10/2025, 5:00 pm PST

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating wildfires across Southern California. We are committed to standing by our community and have organized relief measures to support those impacted. We’ve also compiled a list of fire relief and recovery resources for those affected or looking to support.

We will announce additional relief measures soon.

Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund

Help us rebuild hope and lives.

Wildfires have devastated our Southern California communities, leaving families and individuals in urgent need of support. The USC Credit Union Community Foundation’s Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund (SC Wildfire Relief Fund) is dedicated to providing immediate aid and long-term recovery. Every dollar goes directly to provide wildfire-affected individuals and families with:

  • Meals and hygiene kits
  • Funds for temporary housing
  • Funds for rebuilding lives

As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, your donations to the USC Credit Union Community Foundation are tax-deductible.

FEMA Disaster Assistance

If you’ve been affected by a fire, apply for disaster assistance with FEMA to access a range of recovery resources. These services include help with insurance claims, obtaining replacement documents such as birth certificates and Social Security cards, and support from the DMV.

  1.  If you have insurance, file a claim immediately. FEMA assistance cannot cover losses already covered by insurance.
  2. Apply for FEMA Assistance
    • Online
    • Apply via the FEMA mobile app
    • Call 800-621-3362
  3. Contact local emergency management officials for needs FEMA cannot assist with. You can also call the FEMA Helpline (800-621-3362) for referrals to additional resources.
