Digital Payment Fraud & Scams

When using Zelle®, only send money to those you trust and beware of payment scams. Scammers on social media can use fraudulent letters claiming to be issued by your financial institution to obtain your bank information. USC Credit Union will never use social media to ask you for sensitive information, such as your account number or social security number. Do not open any suspicious documents or links that are sent to you. When in doubt, ignore the message and contact us.

Conduct a physical inspection and check for loose card readers, exposed wires, or tape residue. Always shield the keypad as you enter your PIN and stay alert, especially at night.
