TruStage Cybersecurity Incident

USC Credit Union is aware of a cybersecurity incident involving TruStage, a third-party provider that offers certain insurance and financial services to some USC Credit Union members. The incident occurred within TruStage’s environment, not USC Credit Union’s systems. TruStage is actively investigating the incident with independent cybersecurity experts and working to restore affected services. TruStage is continuing to restore systems and services, and some services may remain temporarily limited. USC Credit Union continues to monitor the situation closely and will communicate any material updates affecting our members as information becomes available. The security and privacy of our members’ information remain among our highest priorities, and we are committed to keeping you informed as we learn more. The cybersecurity incident occurred within TruStage's environment, not USC Credit Union's systems.
Was my information compromised?
At this time, USC Credit Union has not been informed that your USC Credit Union account information was compromised. However, TruStage's investigation is still ongoing. Until that investigation is complete, we cannot confirm whether any individual’s personal information was or was not affected. If TruStage determines that an individual's personal information was affected, appropriate notifications will be made.
Do I need to take any action?
Currently, we are not aware of any specific action USC Credit Union members need to take related to this incident. As always, remain alert for suspicious emails, text messages, or phone calls requesting personal or financial information.
